How to play

  1. Each shift lasts 90 seconds. Up to three cats sit at the counter, and each bubble shows the cake they want plus a patience bar.
  2. Tap a base (cupcake, layer cake or donut) to put it in the oven. When it is baked it slides onto a free plate. If every plate is full, it waits in the oven and burns after a few seconds; tap a burnt bake to toss it.
  3. Tap a frosting, then a topping, to finish the cake on the selected plate. Tap the cat who ordered it, or the finished plate, to serve. The bin throws away the selected plate.
  4. Faster service earns bigger tips, and back-to-back serves build a combo that raises them further. A customer who runs out of patience leaves and breaks your combo.
  5. Earn coins to reach the 1, 2 and 3 star goals. One star unlocks the next shift and new recipes. Spend your coins in the shop on a faster oven, extra plates, comfy cushions and more.

Baker's tip: Keep the oven busy. Start the next base while you frost and top the last one, and serve the cat with the shortest patience bar first.

Getting to know Paws & Pastries

Paws & Pastries is a fast cat bakery rush game. Every 90-second shift fills the counter with cats who each want one exact cake: a cupcake, layer cake or donut, with a frosting and a topping. You bake, decorate and serve against their patience bars, chaining quick serves into combos for bigger tips. New shifts add strawberry, chocolate, matcha and blueberry frostings, fish cookies, sprinkles and chocolate paws, and the customers get hungrier. Between shifts you spend your coins on bakery upgrades. Stars, coins and upgrades are saved in your browser.

A few things to know

How do I unlock new shifts and recipes?

Finish a shift with at least one star to unlock the next one. New bases, frostings and toppings join the menu at set shifts, and locked items show which shift they arrive in. You can replay any unlocked shift to improve your stars.

What do the bakery upgrades do?

The Turbo oven bakes faster, the Double-decker oven adds an oven slot, Extra plates give you more room to work, Comfy cushions make customers wait longer, the Tip jar raises tips and the Oven bell keeps finished bakes warm longer before they burn.

Can I play without signing in?

Yes. All six games are free to play as a guest in your browser. You do not need an account, a download or a virtual pet.

Will my progress be saved?

Your puzzle boards, management games and arcade best scores are saved separately in this browser when device storage is available. They do not sync between devices, and clearing site data removes them. You can still play if storage is unavailable.
